That’s right, gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum based fuels were the number one export for the United States in 2011. Our economy is depressed, we’re paying record prices for fuel, and yet, the surplus is exported to other places around the globe to keep the supply here limited to keep the price inflated. And we are still paying subsidies to these companies with taxpayer dollars? What are we, STUPID?!?!?

Big Brother has become Big Business. Business has become ruthless in its pursuit of profit. Profit at any price is a thing that needs to go. This Corptocracy ideology is a thing that needs to go. Politicians that pander to corporations need to go. Businessmen do not make good government leaders. They might make good bureaucrats, they might make good analysts, they even make good policy advisors, but they are very one dimensional in their thinking. Regardless of what size you think government should be, melding business and government together is never a good or viable idea. How can be objective with any sort of reasonable oversight when you're neck deep in the pockets of those who you are overseeing? You want to talk about a Constitutional Amendment, there should be one to amend the 1st Amendment, “Separation of Business and State.” That’s where I’m at this morning. Y’all think about it.Silence DoGoodnoreply@blogger.com
